Alzheimer’s Association
The Alzheimer’s Association provides support and research related to Alzheimer’s disease. It provides a wealth of information for the caregiver including information about Alzheimer’s, behavior and stages of the illness, how to stay healthy, how best to support someone with Alzheimer’s and dealing with finances.

The ALZConnected section of the Alzheimer’s Organization supports the Alzheimer’s community including those living with Alzheimer’s and caregivers. It provides message boards for topics of interest and solution pages where the caregiver can ask a question of concern and receive or offer solutions to that question.

CareGiving.com is an online presence that supports the community of caregivers through blogs, podcasts, video chats, free webinars, and training. This site gives voice to the caregiver and provides a comprehensive resource directory.
AARP
AARP devotes part of their website to caregiving. They include helpful information about medical, financial, life-balance and community topics. They also provide ways to search for resources and solutions in local areas through a search feature.
Alzheimer’s Reading Room
The Alzheimer’s reading room is a popular Alzheimer’s blog written and hosted by Bob DeMarco, who tracks the latest developments in this disease. It is a favorite resource for many caregivers of people who have Alzheimer’s.

Family Caregiver Alliance─National Center on Caregiving
Family Caregiver Alliance (FCA) provides research, services, advocacy, and education in order to improve the quality of life for caregivers and provides assistance in the development of programs for caregivers. Teepa Snow
Teepa Snow is a leading educator on dementia education and care. She is the founder of the Positive Approach to Care (PAC), a company that offers training, services, and products and that focuses on the relationship with the dementia patient based on the values of empowerment, authenticity, compassion, and curiosity. She is known for seeing “the gems”, or uniqueness and specialness in our loved ones at each stage of the Alzheimer’s progression. Her training is offered both in person and online. Her videos provide a wealth of guidance for the caregiver and models positive ways to interact with people with dementia.
